Oya & Yemaya - The Changes In Our Emotions

Thanks to all who may have checked in with me during the past couple days. It's not my first time meeting a hurricane face to face, but it indeed was the biggest so far. Hurricane Beryl brought some reminders to me, about being prepared, trusting yourself but more importantly - delays!

Even though we're not in a Mercury retrograde, the delay of movement still persisted. We know about flowing like water for example, and funny enough that was our lesson this time around. Our fishing and boat industry has taken a massive hit and there is no idea as to when it will be rectified. Oya - the Goddess and symbol of change and Yemaya Goddess of the sea, has shown us the need for going with the flow, but also the urgency to pay attention to waters of which we inhabit.  Not necessarily the literal seas and rivers and springs, but also our emotional waters.

Are we willing this season to explore our “harvests” more deeply? What will we do when our emotional waters come into question?  There will be some unexpected delays this month, ones that will be a considerable inconvenience to many, but if you are patient, follow your intuition with the right decisions, the end result will be bountiful for your overall spiritual development.

Continue to keep safe
